The Powers of / in Nature
Far in the West, is the world of the 3-thousand-meter mountains (10,000 feet). In the north are the Millstätt Alps and in the East the hiker can find the “Weltenberg” Mirnock. The way up to Mount Mirnock is characterised by mystical places and places of power. The last few metres up to the peak lead up the 30 steps of the Scala Paradisi (Ladder of Paradise), nestled into mountain scenery.
Hidden gems
The Millstätter See Höhensteig trail reveals a number of hidden and visible gems. Ruby-red garnets can be seen along the trail, often only hidden by a layer of silvery mica slate. In addition to the garnets there are numerous historic rocks along the Millstätter See Höhensteig trail unraveling 8 of the most beautiful places in the region.
