Located on the eastern shore of Lake Millstatt, Döbriach sits at the foot of the mystical Mirnock Mountain and is at the entrance to the Nockberge National Park.
Döbriach is also the perfect starting point for hikes in the Nock Mountains and a visit to the mill hiking trail in Kaning. The lake's undeveloped southern shore can be reached by foot or bike from Döbriach.

Carinthia's largest natural bathing beach on the southern shore of Lake Millstatt has five public lidos, two of which feature heated outdoor pools and a picturesque yacht harbour. Guests of the Familiengut Burgstaller receive free admission!
Each summer, Döbriach stages an exciting weekly market, which has become a favourite meeting point for visitors young and old. Local purveyors offer tasty treats including farm products, schnapps, honey and sweets. Plus, there are stands selling wood products and toys and flea market deals that invite you to stroll and browse. You'll also find live music and a giant slide for kids.
Mystical legends and blood-red garnets
At the foot of the Mirnock Mountain is where you will find Döbriach village. Experience a multi-media show about the legends and myths of the Mirnock giants at Sagamundo - the House of Tales. Nearby you'll find the Granatium where you can go mining for beautiful deep-red garnets.
