Riding experience. Holiday. Adventure. Nature.

The Adventure Horse Farm at the Familiengut.

Horse riding during a family holiday at the Burgstaller horse riding hotel in Carinthia is a very special experience.  Guests of all ages can learn to ride or improve their skills during their free time in Döbriach and enjoy some beautiful rides out into the surroundings. And not just that: interacting with the horses is also a key component of any riding holiday at the farm!

Adventure Horse Farm

A cosy, modern hotel with a garden extending over 30,000 m² including a farm with lots of animals – as well as horses: this is a very desirable combination for families because riding enthusiasts can engage with their beloved animals in the riding arena or ring while the others relax. With riding lessons, lunge sessions, training on the track or horse riding out into the surrounding countryside on offer.

Every riding lesson also includes handling these graceful animals. We want to show children, young people and adults how to care for horses, what they like and what they need. Stroking the horses is an important part of getting to know them. In this way, we can introduce our guests to life in the stables and the work involved. A natural experience which is all part of riding and handling the horses.

A horse’s life at the Familiengut.

Our Familiengut is a place where everyone can feel at home – and that includes the animals. Our ponies, mini-Shetlands and Haflingers have lots of space here with us. In addition to the 600 m² riding arena and ring, they can also enjoy freedom and fresh air in the meadow by Lake Millstatt and enjoy some tasty grass. Our guests are welcome to enter their world – they can watch, stroke, feed and care for the horses. And ride them, of course! This is how relationships between people and animals are forged – and riding lessons are not a one off on holiday here.

Our four-legged friends are just as excited about your inquiry as we are.
