All year round at the Familiengut

Every year in December, our Advent of lights lights up and leads you from the hotel to the picturesque Animal Village. Enjoy hot drinks and freshly roasted chestnuts while the crackling of the fire conjures up a cosy atmosphere.

Date in 2025: 20th and 21st December, from 3 p.m.

Start the new year with an indulgent highlight: on New Year's morning, we invite you to a regional breakfast that is perfect for the festive occasion and will spoil you all round! The Carinthian winter at the Familiengut is simply unique. Imagine whizzing down the slopes of nearby ski areas such as Bad Kleinkirchheim, St. Oswald, Goldegg, Katschberg and Turracher Höhe or simply enjoying the tranquil atmosphere around the Lake Millstätter See. Spend relaxing winter days with us around the New Year and let us spoil you. And don't worry - we've also come up with something special for Epiphany.

• Guided (herbal) hikes by the lake or in the Nockberge Biosphere Park with our certified hiking guide.
• Sauna infusion twice a week with our sauna master.
• Yoga twice a week in the garden with our yoga teacher.
• Your Carinthia Card is available at our reception (for an additional charge).
• All other events can be found in our weekly schedule.
• Our tip: Extend your holiday: arrive early, including lunch buffet, or leave later and use the garden and sauna area until the afternoon (subject to availability, please ask our team at reception for information).
