The Familiengut from 16+

At the Familiengut Burgstaller, we warmly welcome all generations. Children feel at home in our 30,000 m² garden or in the Animal Village, teenagers can hang out in the casual "Jugendtreff" and adults feel at home with us anyway. There are numerous activities at the Familiengut that also appeal to older people, offering a variety of experiences and relaxation. There are also sporting excursions to the Lake Millstätter See and the mountains.

Be outside in the fresh air, relax in the shade in the garden, hole ball after ball on the mini golf course, become the king of the court on the tennis courts, chase with horses through the neighbourhood or simply have a good time with friends in the youth room: On our 30,000 m² of hotel area, young people can really have fun and find variety.

Young people aged 16 and over want to discover the world, get active and test their limits. Thanks to the proximity to the Lake Millstätter See, there are numerous activities right on the doorstep to do just that. The motto here is: hit the road, step on the gas and experience the mountains up close. Simply hire a bike at the Familiengut and set off - because here the journey is the reward!

Activities at the Lake Millstätter See

Sport, thrills, experience and adventure - young people will find all this and much more at the Lake Millstätter See. In summer, water sports such as surfing, waterskiing and stand-up paddling beckon. The countless mountain bike tours in the region take you into the Nockberge mountains to really get going. Hikes of all levels of difficulty invite you to climb the fascinating mountain world step by step.

Here in nature, you can really give it your all, push yourself to the limit and conquer the summit. Nothing stops you, everything is possible. And if that's not enough, you can get the thrill of paragliding.

Until the beginning of April, active winter enthusiasts can enjoy skiing on the pistes, fun tobogganing and more.

Relaxation for 16+

You don't have to be constantly on the move to feel good on holiday. Even young people often just want peace and quiet and relaxation instead of chasing after the next adventure. At the Familiengut Burgstaller, we also give our young guests space to fulfil this wish.

Whether in the heated outdoor swimming pool or while reading, sunbathing and dozing in one of the many quiet corners - on 30,000 m², everyone can be on their own. After all, that's exactly what teenagers need: a break from the adult world. Our Spa is also always worth a visit!

When teenagers have had enough experiences and time-out moments on and around our Familiengut and just want to "hang out" with their peers, our newly designed "Jugendtreff" is THE place for our young guests. Here we have created some highlights especially for young people, including our brand new gaming room with a relaxed chill-out area, multimedia and super-fast WIFI. Here, young people not only experience entertainment, but also create unforgettable memories.
